Welcome to The Retired Barista
A Lars Miller Media Creation
About 7 years ago I hung up my apron for the final time. I loved working behind the bar and if I ever get to the point where money is no longer a concern, you best believe I am getting behind a bar again! I worked in speciality coffee as a barista (and I even owned my own subscription service for local roasters) for about two years, creating new drinks, trying my best to perfect me latte art, and connecting with customers over their daily brew.
But coffee? It never really leaves you.
While I may have retired from behind the bar, my fascination with coffee culture, branding, roasting, and the science behind it all has only deepened. Now, instead of crafting drinks for customers, I spend my time brewing at home, exploring coffee shops, testing new products, and watching how this industry evolves. And I want to share these insights with you.
